Maluni is the artist name of me, Martina Lundin (former Lattanzi) from Sweden, Stockholm.
Maluni is an abbrev of my name and represents my passion and lunacy for art.
I´m a visual artist, mainly working on tempered glass.
I do all kind of artworks, from official places to comissioned pieces for exclusive homes and offices.
I still work as an Art Director on occasion when it comes to create visual arts and concepts for branding.
That includes everything from websites – to social medias – to interior designs.
I greet you welcome to contact me for any consulting in the above areas.
For a more detailed upfront presentation of me, please see below.
“It is a lifetime effort to come to grips with being an artistic person.”
I believe in fairytales of untamed beauty…
There is no point in my cognitive memory where I didn’t create.
Regardless of my journeys – across the globe or my own internal explorations – I am pulled by beauty,
seen and unseen, and compelled to release it back to you, my audience, with the sum of my creativity
and my technical knowledge.
Art is my oxygen. Art is my addiction and it’s my religion. In my work I explore the breadth of the
figurative and the abstract to express metaphysical and spiritual ideas, myths, and the flows and
expressions offered by the universe. I believe in aesthetics.
Aesthetics provide me a way of reaching
both within and without. I work across medias and environments, both as an artist and providing art
direction, to tell my fairytales and these manifest in design for interior purposes of every imaginable
The four pillars of my work are love, freedom, nature and the exuberant use of colour – music serves as
my steady companion and my muse. Like you I laugh and cry. I have a semi-hard shell for protection but
I am fragile as crystal inside. I am a true Gemini passion and intensity drive my life, so much so that
sometimes I can almost see my emotions. I am irredeemably a dreamer, but not in the sense of desiring
the unattainable. Rather my dreams are realised with both of my feet firmly planted on the ground,
somehow capable of evoking a positive feeling, or making a profound difference drives both my dreams
and my earthly existence.
Following a mystical path I am a lover of both simple things and complex forms. I function in a state of
connected awareness, grateful in the knowledge that life is truly magical. I cannot undo what we
humans are doing to this beautiful planet, how we hurt our children and their future, but in my work I
strive to give expression to hope, to challenging the viewer or collector of my work to ‘do better’ in their
own lives and for the collective world in which we live.
All my love and light… except that reserved for my husband and my three amazing sons.
Maluni Martina Lundin, nee Lattanzi.
